I Never Can Say Goodbye

...to the Pope!  We are still in post-resignation announcement melancholy mode over here.  Yesterday we watched the Pope's Ash Wednesday Mass and Papal Audience.  We read his Catechesis and Homily. Today we're reading about the Second Vatican Council as he saw it.  We've also watched (over and over again) these two videos below:

My favorite, Cardinal Arinze's personal account and reflection on the Pope's resignation. His comforting words about the Papacy, Christ and the future of the Church is so very necessary.  Love Cardinal Arinze.

And that's how our Ash Wednesday was, no one complained about their sacrifices and we hope it stays that way throughout these 40 days.
