Adopt-A-Cardinal

On this eve of the Pope Benedict XVI's final day as Pontiff, we are taking a cue from Mrs. Darwin by adopting a cardinal.  The kids are all excited to be saying extra prayers for their adopted cardinal as they ask the Holy Spirit to guide, enlighten and protect them especially during the conclave.  One of them quipped it would be awesome if their adopted cardinal becomes the new Pope.

Here are the kids and their cardinals: the oldest has Cdl. Ouellet from my home country of Canada, the girl has Cdl. Peter Erdo (Hungary), the five-year old has Cdl. Norberto Carrera (Mexico) and middle child has Cdl. George of Chicago.  Adopt yours here - http://adoptacardinal.org/
