I'm Listening To - the hum of central heating. I should probably turn it off, it's not that cold out. Took us many a cold night and frosty mornings to finally acquiesce. The space heaters were just not cutting it.
The Week Ahead- fun week with kids anticipating Trick or Treat night. One child will be a fisherman, the other Black Panther. There's also finishing up college application submission. And of course, deep cleaning the house in anticipation of my family's annual visit for the Hot Chocolate.
What's Cooking - lots of veggies and carbs for me. I tend to eat healthier when I'm training for a run. Maybe I should train more often! My go-to for quick meals are stir-fry's because even my kids can make it. Speaking of which, I will most likely delegate some of the cooking to kids and husband this week.
Homeschool Is Cool - the youngest child is down with a sore throat and fever so there will be a lot of reading until all is well.
Prayers - "Jesus, how can I love you more today?"
What I'm Reading - The Infancy Narratives by Pope Benedict XVI because it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I'm Thankful For - car seat warmers, also known in these parts as bun toasters. It's not only good for chilly morning drives but it soothes some of the aches and soreness from running.
Picture Perfect - glorious autumn

Gorgeous fall pics. Hope the illness is contained and he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteHe's a bit better today or maybe it's the medicine kicking in! As long as he's not sick for trick or treating life is good.
