Visiting Rock House

After visiting Cantwell Cliffs we decided to explore Rock House.  Under the canopy of trees the heat of the summer sun was forgotten.  The hike was not too challenging but the trail was muddy.  I think we were on the easy trail as foot traffic was heavy.  I usually prefer a quieter hike but sometimes we have to share Mother Nature with her other fans. My husband is an avid backpacker so these hikes are a way to prepare our kids for backpacking.  

On my next entry I will write about a more challenging hike that we took at Burr Oak.  In the meantime,  here are the Rock House photos -
