A Photo Dump Catch-Up

I'm feeling productive today so as a reward I am allowing myself extra time to blog ;-)  The Summer schedule is working really well so far even if I sound like a broken record about what needs to be done everyday. The washer is still on the fritz after all the time my husband spent on it. With the task above his pay grade we will have to hire a repair person. We live about two minutes away from a laundromat so with the oldest tagging along, I did laundry there last week.  All eight loads were done all at once. Maybe what I really need is to own a laundromat!

The exercise thing is going well, I know this because my sciatic nerve pain is, for the most part, gone.  I'm doing all cardio this week using a hybrid of Rockin' Body and P90x.  Then next week I will add the strength training from P90x and then the following week I will add Insanity to the hybrid schedule. Don't envy me because I'm sweaty!

Another productive thing I have done recently is getting pictures from all devices (cellphones/ipod/tablet/digital camera) onto the laptop. If these were taken with old-school film cameras that need to be developed I would be very poor! Anyway,  here are some of my faves-

my brother with the kids
we took him geocaching, he left five Canadian dollars in it
this was his ticket to the canonization celebration of Sts. Pope John XXIII and John Paul II  in Vancouver
then the girl had a sleepover with a couple of friends, we went shopping, then they painted nails and played with make-up, it was fun and I am dreading the teen-age years LOL
they bought matching shirts and ipod covers and critiqued the (im)modesty of clothes at the mall,, I was a proud mama
then there was the trip to the donut shop
fresh, hot off the vat donut
then we went hiking with my niece from Texas
creeking
kayaking
canoeing
With so many pictures still left to go through I might have to do a part two!
