12/ Year - October

prayingforgrace.blogspot.com
October is the month of love...for Autumn lovers, that is.  It was a rainy one this year.  Our basement flooded but I will spare you the gore of those photos (yup we have photos), my husband ended up at  the hospital (sparing you those photos too) and there was a severe storm warning during Trick or Treat. I would really love to forget this month but the photos won't let me LOL. But there was also apple-picking, a visit to the pumpkin patch, creeking with friends and various other fun things.  So shall we just pretend this month was all peachy? As usual, when you are done here go and visit the lovely Barb at Praying for Grace, host of this link-up.

Here we go....in random order:

at the homeschool skate

the calm before the storm - someone told me to always look up when things are looking down, I wasn't looking up because I was down, I was looking up because I was tired LOL

this is how I rest, thought you might like the visual LOL...

and this is how they photobomb my restful moment

this is how this child makes me laugh, wearing my rain boots while pretending to chat on the (broken) cellphone

apple-picking with a tired baby

he's the apple of my eye

preserving apples that lasted maybe two weeks
carving pumpkins

making funny faces

rosary procession at our parish

creek day with friends at the metropark

he loves his shadow

tuning out the world and zoning in to Britt Nicole on the way to volleyball tournaments

braving the rain and the winds all in the name of candy
this child was a trooper, he walked the whole trick or treat route with no complaints or asking to be carried despite the weather. let him eat candy!

the girl is missing from this photo, she didn't want to beg for candy so she was my assistant
can you tell which one is the most ornery?

they are getting taller, that's for sure

I don't think the turkeys were thrilled with my oldest child's hat

rolly polly

driving the big rig

on the way to beg for candy

Luke Skywalker
Well, I guess I can stop whining now about October, it wasn't such a bad month after all.
