Today I am thankful for silence, in all it's forms. The silence of the early morning hours. The silence of a lazy afternoon's nap. The silence of prayer. And my new favorite form of silence, the silence of disconnecting from social media. It took me a while to realize how much noise it brought to my life and not always in a good way. I'm contemplating leaving it forever. I figure that those who really want to be a part of my life outside of social media will find a way to get a hold of me one way or another.
Another form of silence I am thankful for is about to commence here shortly....sleep ;-)
Today, for silence, my trustworthy companion since childhood, I am truly thankful.
