The Intro I Should Have Written

It's Friday. So I will hopefully be quick on this post because I have a date with the husband and kids. I should have written this post two days ago but ugh, I have no valid excuse.

Joining the 31 Days blogging project started out as a shot in the dark via a Facebook status.  It quickly grew into a conversation by the end of which a couple of us real-life blogging friends decided we will participate.  Because you know we don't have children or loads of laundry and we have nothing better to do ;-)

I think most of us chose to write about faith - ish. The cool thing about reading your friend's blog is that you mostly know the story behind the story.  You hear their voice (and laughter or sorrow) in the written word and you do not question in your mind their authenticity or sanity (not that I've done that with other bloggers, ahem, LOL).  We're only three days into it and my brain is already bubbling with ideas and I'm finding myself more mindful of faith moments, if I may, in the everyday.

Admittedly I lost a bit of sleep the first 24 hours of this challenge.  That's because I made the mistake of going to the Facebook page of this blogging challenge. Participants are engaged, ready to write with their pretty buttons and blogging goals. Ack. We're not worthy!  I lost slept over how my button should look like, what my 31 day theme would sound like - 31 days of Faith Seeking Understanding, 31 Days Through The Eyes of Faith, 31 Days of Finding Faith in The Everyday, 31 Days of ... gosh, I forgot the others.  That's what happens when you think of blog themes at 3am.  Whoever wrote that night owls are more intelligent and creative than early birds is a big, fat, liar.

So for now no blogging theme other than the blanket theme of Faith and no buttons.

Before I go, make sure to visit these beautiful people writing with me for 31 days. I am so very blessed to call them friends -
Nicole at Just Like Mary
Fatima at Choosing the Better Path
Eve at Tea & Candor
Christine at Epiphanies of Beauty
and I believe Katie is blogging for 31 days too at Being Mirrors

A blessed weekend to you all.

  1. Ha! You did the same thing I did. Panic! I am inspired by your ability to stay focused on your own space and ignore the clamor. :)

    1. It's that proverbial blogging blinders. It's the only way I survived blogging for this long. Now you know there will be a 30 Days Thankfulness blog challenge in November hahaha

  2. Oh, you made me cry just a little! But listen! You can question my sanity any time, I do it all the time!

    1. Honestly, I love reading blogs of people I know personally. Because we don't always talk the way we write, at least I don't think I don't. I'll be sure to check your sanity every now and then. Feel free to do the same with me.
