All Tricks No Treat Part II

Today started out windy and chilly. The sun peeked out enough times for the kids to play in the leaf pile and get all that energy out. When the wind and rain came we went back to our books to finish up what's left of this First Quarter, mostly quizzes and testing.  I'm so glad we took advantage of the nice weekend weather to hike and visit the zoo.  It was the perfect break to usher us into a busy school week.  No one can complain that their life is so hard.

Here's the rest of the story in pictures:
the map boy and the pink flamingos
the dinosaur display was quite impressive
creepy boat ride
those kids
this kid is awesome
it was very festive
I want to take these home LOL
we capped off our day with a trip to the ice cream parlor
And then we went home to carve pumpkins.  More on that in a later post. The rest of the week will find us with faces buried in tests and books and a weekend of feasting with Holy Mother Church.
