Too Awesome To Categorize

Another October, another Write31Days challenge!  I'm actually excited to write this year.  My original plan was to select a specific category from the selections provided.  I figured that would really make it a challenge and get me out of my comfort zone. For now I am choosing the "too awesome to categorize" topic aka "my blogging topics list is here there and everywhere".  It somehow works out that by the time the first week is up my writing tends to narrow done to a particular theme.  We'll see how it goes this time around.

One of my motivations in joining this year is that this is apparently the last time it's being hosted.  It's bittersweet.  I have enjoyed each year that I joined.  English is not my first language so to be able to write for thirty one days straight is a challenge to both my creativity and vocabulary.  That is my excuse for all the vocabulary errors I have made and/or will ever make. 

This month my topics will include daybooks, Christmas shopping list ideas (yes, I said Christmas in October!),  my faith life, my teaching life (both at home and at my parish), a playlist (because that's always a popular draw to this blog), and whatever inspires.  To coincide with this writing challenge I am also starting a new workout program to complement my running.  So you know there will be a blog post about that!
