30 Days of Thanks- A Better Guest Blogger...

Good morrow y'all, its ya boi. The big man himself, the one and only, the long awaited, the OG, child #1. I know for a fact that every single one of you has been saying the same thing: "Yeah nah we've all heard about him and seen pictures and he seems great and all, but is he even real? He's never posted before. Even his best friend has done that before. How do we know he's even real?" Well guess what? I, as a matter of fact, am real because we all know that your existence isn't verified until you write a blog post.

Anyhoo, I am here like the lesser child #2 to fill in for my beloved mother who has been so graciously preparing to enjoy the company of her family (most of whom arrived today), keeping the house as clean as possible, and preparing for a fourth arrival tomorrow, all while grinding on Candy Crush Saga. My mom can multi-task like no one else on this planet. She's kept the whole house clean for the family all while making it to level 2192 on said game (no joke I confirmed this while writing). Absolutely incredible. I aspire to be as dedicated as her one day.

I'm going to follow the same pattern of thankfulness that has been discussed throughout the month. So many things to be thankful for but one in particular stands out in the past few year. What I'm most thankful for at the moment is for The Boys. Who are The Boys, you might ask? Well, well, well. The Boys are a group of my classmates, cross country teammates, and friends that I've goofed off with for the past year. They come in two different groups, the Bois and the Brosquad. I'll talk about the Bois first. The Bois are the group of teammates from cross country. All of us are seniors. The Bois go stupid sometimes. We are the perfect mix of goofing off and serious when it comes to running. We have this trademark thing called Bois Pics™. Even the blog knows its trademarked. How good. Bois Pics are random moments during the season when we decided to take a picture as a group. Here are a couple of the best ones:

(Also excuse our immodesty as we were mid-run)

So yeah. We have a good time. The other group is the Brosquad. This group goes back to last fall when we first started hanging out after a baby shower for a different friend of ours. Unlike the Bois, this group is all goof off. We all live kinda far from each other but the distance is made up for by the crazy stuff we do. We play hide and seek in IKEA, eat food, go to the zoo, eat food, party hard, play baseball, play ultimate, and eat food. You can generally find us in your friendly neighborhood Wendy's ordering 4 for 4s with spicy nuggets and drinking our pop without ice. Shout-out to the No Ice Gang. Here are a couple of the best moments from the Bros:

So yeah. These are the people and the memories that I'm grateful for. I hope you have enjoyed the grace of my presence. I might write again soon. Depends on my schedule for school. Maybe I'll write about my adventures as an Ultimate Frisbee captain in the spring. Anyway, until next time, fare thee well.
