30 Days Of Thanks - Sunday

What a beautiful day! It started out with a chilly sprinkle that eventually broke to give way to the sun and warmer temperatures.  Our newly-minted altar serving child served his first Sunday Mass. A few tears could not escape suppression as the Holy Spirit pricked my heart to the grace of the moment. What a joy and an honor!  And what a gift to see a boy so happy for this privilege.

The rest of our day continued in a leisurely manner.  We also took advantage of the good weather to finish raking and bagging the leaves now that our tree is completely barren.  Our cars have been de-cluttered, de-gunked, and prepped for the winter.  With all the outdoor chores finished, it was time for the annual jump into the leaf pile.

The day ended with a splendid full moon.  For the beauty of this Sunday and the anticipated joy of the coming week with family arriving in town, today, I am truly thankful.
